Phoenix Supported Housing, a non-profit organisation providing accommodation, social support and education opportunities in Wolverhampton, was awarded funding by the VINCI UK Foundation earlier this year.

The charity, nominated by Freyssinet’s QSE Manager Darren Collinswood, provides temporary housing and a number of sustainable support services for families in need. The VINCI UK Foundation grant has been used to purchase IT equipment for its Education Hub, a learning and training facility that allows residents to access and develop skills that will help them secure stable employment and independent living.

The VINCI UK Foundation was launched in 2016 with aim of promoting social cohesion and inclusion throughout the communities in which we operate. In the last seven years the Foundation has helped over 200 charities across the UK and Ireland, combining practical support from VINCI employees and almost £1.5 million in grants.
