Freyssinet celebrates 75th anniversary

Freyssinet reached an impressive milestone in this year, celebrating its 75th anniversary with events in Paris and the UK.

On Saturday 20 October, Freyssinet UK hosted a gala dinner at the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham for employees and their partners.

Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, followed by speeches from Managing Director Paul Bottomley and CEO of Freyssinet Patrick Nagle. In honour of the company’s founder, French engineer Eugene Freyssinet, a six-course Parisian-inspired meal was then served.

The 75th anniversary has allowed Freyssinet entities around the world to reflect on the developments and achievements of the company, from the invention of pre-stressed concrete in the 1940s to the use of Ultra High Performance Concrete (ExoLeaf®) in recent years.
