VINCI UK FOUNDATION LOGO

At the heart of the VINCI Group’s ethos is a commitment to improving everyday life and mobility for all. This dedication goes beyond the infrastructure and facilities we design, build and maintain. The VINCI UK Foundation aims to drive social progress – supporting charitable initiatives that create opportunities in training, employment, housing, mobility, and leisure.

In the UK and Republic of Ireland, VINCI businesses, including Freyssinet, VINCI Concessions, VINCI Energies UK & RoI, VINCI Construction UK, VINCI Facilities, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Belfast International Airport, Soletanche Bachy, Gatwick Airport, Ringway, Taylor Woodrow, and NUVIA UK – are proud contributors to this collective effort.

A year of impactful giving
2025 marks another significant year for the VINCI UK Foundation, with £238,000 in grants awarded to 41 not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Ireland. These grants, which range from £3,000 to £10,000 are more than just numbers; they are vital investments that will upgrade transport, supply equipment, and improve facilities. In addition, each initiative is sponsored by at least one VINCI employee, who commits their time and expertise over a 12-month period – bringing each project to life through personal involvement.

Spotlight on Freyssinet’s selected charities:

Future Talent
Future Talent supports gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds through financial aid, mentoring, masterclasses, and performance opportunities. Founded in 2004 by HRH The Duchess of Kent and Nicholas Robinson, the charity aims to break financial and social barriers that could restrict musical potential.

Sponsored by Paula Kwiatkowska, Estimator, the VINCI UK Foundation funding will go towards Future Talent’s Senior Programme, which supports 16-18-year-old musicians with essential skills, industry knowledge, and mentorship. Through online sessions and in-person workshops, the initiative strengthens employability, expands professional networks, and equips young people with transferable skills for the music industry and beyond.

Sheffield Cycling 4 All (SC4A)
Sheffield Cycling 4 All, part of Disability Sheffield, is set to launch Yorkshire’s first inclusive off-road cycling hub at Parkwood Springs, offering accessible rides for disabled adults and those with long-term health conditions. While the charity already provides inclusive cycling across the city, this initiative introduces high-adrenaline off-road experiences for those eager to try something new.

Sponsored by Chad Bertasso, QS, VINCI UK Foundation funding will go towards an ICE Full Fat Foot Cycle – a specially designed off-road e-cycle for people with a variety of needs.
