HAMMERSMITH SEMINAR A SUCCESS 03 November 2014

Over 40 attended a seminar on ‘Corrosion, Structural Repair and Post Tensioning’ at Novotel London West, Hammersmith on Tuesday 30th September 2014.
Guest speakers included David Halifax, Reinforced Earth Manager and Jon Ball, Associate Director, Roger Bullivant.
Freyssinet’s Southern Repairs Manager, Gary McKenzie was impressed with the level of interest shown in both the talks and the site visit, from delegates across the UK.

FREYSSINET SEMINAR IN HAMMERSMITH, LONDON ON 30TH SEPTEMBER

As part of our commitment to the Construction Industry, Freyssinet will be hosting a seminar in Hammersmith, London to discuss structural repair, geotechnical and refurbishment techniques.

Over 40 attended a seminar on ‘Corrosion, Structural Repair and Post Tensioning’ at Leeds United Football Club, Leeds on Tuesday 28th January 2014.

Guest speakers included Graham Povey, Temporary Works Consultant and Dr Chris Atkins, Associate, Mott MacDonald.

Freyssinet’s Northern Repairs Manager, Phil Watkins-Smith was impressed with the level of interest shown from around Yorkshire.

NEW FREYSSINET SEMINAR DATES

As part of Freyssinet’s ongoing commitment to the construction industry, we are hosting two seminars to discuss repair and refurbishment techniques.

The seminars will include papers on Post-Tensioning to Buildings and Civil Engineering Structures, Structural Repair Techniques for Buildings (concrete/steel frame) Highways, Rail and Marine Structures, including Electro Chemical Techniques and Cathodic Protection.

Over 40 attended a seminar on ‘Corrosion, Structural Repair, Post Tensioning and general Repair Techniques’ at Salford City Stadium, Manchester on Tuesday 14th May.
Guest speakers included Dr Lee Canning, Principal Engineer, Sinclair Knight Merz and Dr Chris Atkins, Associate, Mott MacDonald.
Freyssinet Repairs Manager, Phil Watkins-Smith (North West Area), was overwhelmed by the response on the day.
Phil commented that the feedback from attendees was extremely positive, with many questions being asked throughout the seminar. We clearly hit the target with many people interested in these topical issues.
