Freyssinet takes on Welsh Three Peaks

A team from Freyssinet will take on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge in August, joining forces with Costain to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Freyssinet project team – Deborah Lawley, Chris Meade, Chris Goron, Marc Recoquille and Thomas Leguay, currently based at Brynglas on Costain’s tunnel refurbishment scheme project, will climb the three highest mountains in Wales – Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan. Alongside members of the Costain team, they will trek over 17 miles, tackling a total ascent of approximately 1500 metres in just 24 hours.

Cancer Research UK is Costain’s chosen charity for 2017, voted for by its staff. The Welsh Three Peaks challenge will support the charity’s summer health and wellbeing campaign to promote cancer prevention and awareness.
