Freyssinet UK has partnered with NHS Test and Trace to offer asymptomatic COVID-19 testing to employees through the Workplace Collect Scheme.
We have been supplied with instant lateral flow tests for all employees by the NHS Test and Trace System. The tests will be distributed to our regional offices, work sites and to those working from home over the next week.
One in three people can have coronavirus without displaying any symptoms, which could mean they spread the virus in their workplace without knowing. Rapid testing detects cases quickly – in under 30 minutes – meaning positive cases can isolate immediately, breaking chains of transmission. Employees are encouraged to test themselves 2-3 times a week.
