Freyssinet has made a donation to a local Shropshire school to enable them to purchase special equipment for their pupils.
The Bridge School in Telford provides education for pupils with the most complex learning needs in Telford and Wrekin area. Many pupils have additional needs such as physical difficulties, autism, sensory and medical needs. The school requires specialist equipment to enable their pupils to communicate and learn.
The donation from Freyssinet will enable the school to purchase a Logan ProxTalker, The device, which costs around £1,600, assists children with speech difficulties to communicate words and phrases by placing tags – known as Sound Tags – over the machine which then announces the word that the tag represents.
Head teacher Heather Davies thanked Freyssinet for their donation, saying, “The Logan ProxTalker will have a direct impact on the lives of some of our pupils and their families”.
