Freyssinet festive food collection for Telford Crisis Support

Telford Crisis Support

Freyssinet employees at Innovation House in Telford held a collection for Telford Crisis Support for its Christmas food hamper appeal, which are distributed as part of the charity’s food bank initiative.

The Telford Crisis Network includes local service providers from public, private and third sector organisations that work cooperatively to provide effective and coordinated support services for people in crisis in Telford and Wrekin.

The charity has operated a food bank since 2013, providing emergency food, toiletries and clothing to those most in need. In addition, every December the organisation works with a network of organisations and local charities to refer any individuals or families they believe would benefit from a Christmas hamper, including those who are homeless or in temporary accommodation.

The food donations from Freyssinet will go towards making up approximately 150 Christmas hampers, which the volunteers will distribute across Telford with help from support workers and health visitors.
