Freyssinet is to exhibit at Railtex 2017, held at the NEC Birmingham on 9 – 11 May.
Now in its 13th year, the exhibition brings together contractors and suppliers of railway equipment, products and services, while showcasing the latest technological innovations in the rail sector.
Freyssinet’s rail division will be present on stand W54, highlighting the company’s specialist capabilities in structure sliding, bridge maintenance and monitoring, tunnel maintenance, tunnel bore size increase ‘BigaBore’, brickwork and concrete repairs, bridge jacking, bearings replacement, leak sealing, waterproofing and slope stabilisation.
A focus of the event will also be Freyssinet’s ElevArch® technique, which was successfully trialled last year. The innovative method for lifting masonry arch bridges was devised as part of the RSSB Innovation Railway programme’s Avoidance of Bridge Reconstruction competition. It is hoped ElevArch® will provide an effective alternative to overbridge demolition.
Tickets to Railtex 2017 are free for visitors who register before 8 May. Visit www.railtex.co.uk to book your place.
