Civil engineering specialist Freyssinet has successfully obtained FORS Champion status.
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an industry-led accreditation which aims to promote road freight as a sustainable mode of transportation. It encompasses all aspects of road safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations.
The scheme, which is run by Transport for London, helps fleet operators such as Freyssinet measure and monitor performance and alter its operations in order to ensure best practice.
Freyssinet operates an ethos of ‘Sustainable Technology’, aiming is to ‘do more with less materials and energy’ and continuously strives to improve processes to increase its sustainability.
As a FORS Champion, Freyssinet will ensure that FORS best practice standards and legal compliance are at the heart of its supply chain and operational activities.
