A team from Freyssinet recently took part in community garden refurbishment at Incredible Edible Knowsley near Liverpool, as part of an SDF North West Area Community Action Day.

The day was organised by Winvic, with Freyssinet invited to attend as part of the wider SDF community. Our team supported essential repair works at the community garden, including carrying out repairs to polytunnels, which are key to the charity’s food growing initiative. Aiming to reduce food poverty, the organisation, working with adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, grows free, fresh food for the community.
The Freyssinet team on the day included Ed Barton, Mick Boyle, Craig Dinsley, Ashley Gordon, Rajinder Maras, Louis Ward and Maksims Muravjovs.
The refurbished garden will continue to support the local community, helping to reduce isolation and loneliness while improving health, wellbeing and the local environment.
