Freyssinet to host Birmingham seminar with special guest Rob Bell

Rob BellFreyssinet is to host its annual seminar on engineering innovation and structural strengthening at Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham on Thursday 18 October.

Following successful events in London, York and Glasgow in recent years, the Birmingham event will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Freyssinet and include a look at the impact of Freyssinet techniques over the last 75 years.

Rob BellSpecial guest speaker for the event will be Rob Bell, an engineer, adventurer and television presenter of documentaries including The World’s Greatest Bridges and The Unstoppable Flying Scotsman. With a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rob has continued his love for science and engineering through his television work, while his adventurous pursuits, from running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, to rallying through the Sahara – have taken him to all corners of the planet.
