Freyssinet Makers carried out extensive external refurbishment to four 14-floor blocks of flats in the Poplars area of Leeds during 2006.
The works consisted of:
• External repairs and coatings.
• Roof insulation and asphaltic coatings.
• Cavity insulation.
• Repairs to bin chutes, bin store doors and general external upgrading.
All works were carried out from suspended cradle access to minimise security problems.
The high standard of work carried out led to two further contracts of similar size and scope in the Rycroft and Armley areas.
