Freyssinet to exhibit at Bridges 2017

Freyssinet is to exhibit at Bridges 2017 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Thursday 16 March.

Now in its 25th year, the annual Bridges conference and exhibition brings together technical knowledge, debate and discussion from Europe’s bridge community.

Bridges 2017 will focus on delivering a number of informative sessions detailing all the latest innovations and opportunities through technical sessions and case studies. The sessions will be of benefit for those involved with the planning, design, construction and maintenance of bridges, both in the UK and around the world.

A highlight of the event will be Freyssinet’s ElevArch® technique, which was successfully trialled last year. Freyssinet’s Sales and Technical Director Kevin Bennett and Dr Bill Harvey will present ‘Arch in the way? Just lift it!’ at the conference, discussing the development and testing of ElevArch® – a revolutionary new technique for vertically jacking masonry bridge arches.

In addition, key topics this year will include the implementation of the new Highways Code of Practice risk based approach, protective security challenges for bridge owners and engineers and lessons learned from the 2015/16 floods.

Visit Freyssinet on stand C9 at Bridges 2017, Coventry on Thursday 16 March.
